Surgical Tech
Eberbach Plastic Surgery of IBI Healthcare is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist to join our growing team in Hudson, FL.
What you get to do:
- Function under the direction of the registered professional nurse.
- Assists the health care team in providing safe, age-appropriate, and culturally aware patient care. He/she has knowledge, skill, and ability to perform duties within the context of moderate to high acuity surgical cases(with an expectation on occasion to work above this level as cases require) as defined by the scope of anatomy, equipment, and instrumentation of the case and anticipates the needs of the surgeon and other members of the healthcare team.
- Exhibits an acquisition of additional surgical skills for progressively more difficult cases.
- Demonstrates an efficient, organized surgical plan for assigned cases.
- Takes the initiative to discuss the surgical plans with other members of the healthcare team.
- Able to troubleshoot instruments and equipment.
- Anticipates any additional supplies or equipment required for procedures.
- Ability to mentor, precept or train in various modalities.
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
- Duties include, but are not limited to, preparation of the operative suite and surgical field to ensure a safe patient care environment while being vigilant for the maintenance of the sterile field and other patient safety concerns. In addition, they will gather required instruments, and supplies and serve as surgical assistants as needed. (Not to be confused with a certified surgical first assistant).
- Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to assisting with inventory, ordering, and stocking ASC and additional perioperative areas assigned.
Who are you:
- A graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program and surgical technologist certification.
- Experience with instrumentation.
- Current BCLS.
- Strong understanding of surgical technology and surgical procedure.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Passionate about patient care.

Patient Ambassador/Front Desk Receptionist
Full Job Description
Eberbach Plastic Surgery of IBI Healthcare is looking for 2 Front Desk Receptionists/Patient Ambassadors to join our growing team in Hudson and Tampa FL locations.
- Candidate must be friendly, a team player and a multitasker
- Answer multi-line phones and either direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs yourself
- Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other necessary data
- Provide patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents
- Process payments from patients
- Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients based on provider availability.
- Maintain/update patient records and office notes in the EMR system.
- Call patients to remind them of upcoming appointments and to help them schedule testing for off-site services.
- Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
- Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
- Keep track and follow up with your set of patients throughout the process to ensure all prerequisite steps have been properly completed for a smooth virtual health appointment.
Who are you:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist/Patient Ambassador
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
