Peels

Peels can be added to any facial, depending upon skin type, needs and conditions. Most peels are recommended in a series of 4 to 6 weekly treatments. At your complimentary skin care consultation, our aesthetician will determine which peel will be beneficial for you.

Chemical peels are an excellent choice for all skin types. Peels smooth and rejuvenate skin texture by reducing the appearance of hyperpigmentation due to sun damage, scarring, melasma and fine lines. Peels can be applied to various parts of the body, including the face, chest, back, hands, arms and legs. They are beneficial in decreasing oil production by helping to unclog sebaceous follicles (oil glands) and contribute to the healing process of acne out breaks and scarring.

What to Expect

Clients can expect redness and mild discomfort during the application process of any chemical peel. Flakiness and peeling a few days following treatment is very normal though not all clients will experience this. Within a week, a smoother and healthier layer of skin will be revealed. More aggressive peels are more likely to cause shedding of the upper layers of the skin that can sometimes last for 7 to 10 days.
