Men and women between the ages of 18 to 65 now can choose science-based, non-invasive medical aesthetic solutions, including BOTOX® Cosmetic and the JUVÉDERM® family of dermal fillers, to achieve their natural results. Since its approval, BOTOX® Cosmetic has been the number-one physician-administered aesthetic procedure in the United States.

How Does BOTOX® Work?

BOTOX delivers predictable, subtle results, so you look like you, only with less noticeable facial lines. Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows cause the skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. BOTOX® Cosmetic works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines in adults – to help them look visibly smoother. Botox injections contain botulinum toxin, which is produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. This toxin effectively inhibits muscle contraction by blocking particular chemical signals from neurons. Treatment requires minimal downtime.

How long does BOTOX® Last?

Results typically last 3 months but vary by the patient.

Which Issues Can BOTOX® Address?

BOTOX® can effectively eliminate crow’s feet, horizontal forehead creases, vertical frown lines, and bunny lines.

This injectable can also address hyperhidrosis in the armpits. Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by excess sweating.

At Eberbach Plastic Surgery Dr. Eberbach is the only person who administers Botox. Dr. E. is one of the few physicians in the U.S. qualified as an Expert Injector. 1.2 million doctors in the nation are legally allowed to perform injectable only 7 percent of them are qualified by the Expert Injector program.
